Well, there are now 4 of us living in our house. Jonathan, me, Charlie, and the new addition to our family; Jaxson. Jonathan has wanted a Golden Retriever for a very long time and he found one last weekend that we fell in love with. I am not sure how I feel about the new puppy... I am excited but at the same time I am stressed out! Charlie is such a good dog and so easy and now with the new puppy its back to potty training, getting him not to chew on things, etc. Needless to say, I am tried and feel as though I might as well live outside! I am sure once we get past potty training and he gets a little older that I will love him even more! Charlie doesn't know what to make of Jaxson. Charlie's used to being an only child and getting all of the attention, so he has been pouting a lot and hiding in our basement. I am sure he will get used to him soon though! I hope so at least!
On a sad note, the weekend we got Jaxson (last weekend) was filled with a variety of emotions. I found out that my Aunt Lucy has bone cancer and it has already spread to multiple places in her body. Its been really hard and we are all just devastated. I have been doing a lot of praying and am hoping for the best! My Mom, sister, and I are going to fly to California to see her next month. I cannot wait.
